Zeta Eta House Approved!
Dear Brothers,
On Tuesday, June 2, the Commerce City Council approved the TAMU-C Zeta Eta Housing Project. We have four bids for construction and the building committee will award the bid this week. Permits are being applied for and construction will start this week! A campus map has been added to this website here and the location of our Apartments / Chapter House is marked "EX". We have a great location, directly across the street from campus and the sorority houses. Construction should be completed in time for occupancy in the fall '09 semester.
With the continued financial support of our generous Zeta Eta Alumni and the Dallas Alumni Chapter, the dream of a Chapter House for Zeta Eta is now a reality. The undergraduate members of Zeta Eta are very excited and are working hard to help in any way they can. Now, we need to focus on our fund-raising efforts with the objective of paying off the debt on the apartments within a year. We need the help of all our Alumni and ask you to consider helping Zeta Eta with the following two committments:(1)Consider making a financial pledge(annual or monthly)in support of the housing corporation;(2)contact as many Zeta Eta Alumni as you can and share our exciting news. Please make plans to visit Commerce and view the construction of our new facility. Hope to see you on June 27th at the Zeta Eta Alumni Golf Tournament!
